当地时间8月15日，沃尔玛发布截至2025财年第二财季财报。财报显示，沃尔玛第二财季总营收达1693.35亿美元，同比增长4.8%，调整后经营利润同比增长7.2%至7.9亿美元。其中中国市场依旧表现强劲，沃尔玛中国第二财季净销售额为46亿美元，同比增长17.7%，增幅连续两年持续扩大。
近年来，不少企业的大卖场门店效益下降，出现了关店止损的情况，沃尔玛也不例外。在过去两年多的时间内，沃尔玛有近60家门店相继关闭。据统计，仅2024年上半年，沃尔玛就关闭了至少17家门店。沃尔玛在中国市场的销售增长得益于山姆会员商店和电商业务继续保持强劲势头，山姆会员商店客流量呈正增长。
截至目前，山姆在中国已拥有48家门店，今年还将有6家新店开业，分别位于东莞、绍兴、成都、泉州、温州、武汉。从最新的布局来看，山姆的扩张版图更加关注下沉市场，在新一线及二线城市布局，并围绕城市群产生溢出效应。2023年，山姆销售额突破了800亿元大关。山姆会员商店已经成为沃尔玛强劲的增长引擎，在传统卖场经历“转型阵痛”时，会员制超市精准服务于城市中产家庭群体，代表着未来超市零售发展的一大方向。

Walmart China’s Net Sales Rose 17.7% in Q2 from a Year Earlier
8月15日，沃尔玛发布的2025财年第二季度业绩报告显示，公司营收为1693亿美元，同比增长4.7%；净利润为45亿美元，同比下降43%。
On August 15, Walmart released the second quarter of fiscal year 2025 results report showing that the company's revenue was $169.3 billion, an increase of 4.7%; Net income was $4.5 billion, down 43% from a year earlier.
二季度，该公司电商销售额总体增长了21%。沃尔玛表示，国际业务的固定汇率销售额增长了8.3%，反映了沃尔玛中国和印度本土电商Flipkart的强劲表现。
In the second quarter, the company's overall e-commerce sales rose 21%. Constant currency sales in the international business rose 8.3%, reflecting strong performances from Walmart China and India's local e-commerce player Flipkart, the company said.
财报显示，沃尔玛中国二季度净销售额为46亿美元，同比增长17.7%，可比销售额增长13.8%；电商业务净销售额增长23%；沃尔玛中国电商渗透率达49%，比去年同期增长超过200个基点。
According to the results, Walmart China's net sales in the second quarter were $4.6 billion, an increase of 17.7%, and comparable sales increased 13.8%; E-commerce net sales increased 23%; Walmart China's e-commerce penetration rate reached 49%, an increase of more than 200 basis points over the same period last year.
亚马逊将在英国测试Prime Air无人机送货服务
Amazon to test Prime Air drone delivery service in the UK
当地时间8月15日，英国民航局宣布，亚马逊和其他六家机构将参与一项试验，测试无人机在偏远地区的使用情况。
On August 15, the UK's Civil Aviation Authority(CAA) announced that Amazon and six other organisations would take part in a trial to test the use of drones in remote areas.
这项试验将把在操作员视线之外飞行的无人机纳入英国领空。
The experiment will bring drones that fly beyond the visual line of sight of their operators into U.K. airspace.
该试验将收集无人机如何探测和避开其他飞机的数据，以及发送电子信号让其他空域用户和空中交通管制部门看到无人机的数据。
The trial will gather data on how the drones detect and avoid other aircraft, and the electronic signals that can be sent to make them visible to other airspace users and air traffic control.
英国国家科研与创新署未来飞行挑战项目负责人Simon Masters表示，这些飞行“有可能改变我们运送货物和提供服务的方式，特别是在交通不太发达的地区。”
The flights “have the potential to transform how we deliver goods and provide services, particularly in less well-connected regions,” said Simon Masters, future flight challenge deputy director at U.K. Research and Innovation.
